Meet Our Medical Director:
Dr. Frank D. Winters, a certified leading expert in wound care, oversees the program to ensure your patients receive the highest level of care.
Dr. Frank D. Winters is a highly experienced family medicine physician in Livonia, Michigan, with over 40 years of practice. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1979 and is affiliated with several hospitals in the area. Specializing in family and geriatric medicine, Dr. Winters is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to his patients. In addition, as a certified wound care specialist, he offers advanced expertise in treating complex wounds and promoting optimal healing.

Why I (Shelly) developed this program with Dr. Winters:
On a personal note, I’ve had the privilege of being a caregiver for multiple family members. Most recently, I experienced firsthand the challenges of helping my father as he dealt with painful wounds. My journey has inspired me to collaborate with Dr. Frank Winters to create this program.
From my heart, I want to help ensure that no one has to endure the pain and frustration of deep, non-healing wounds.
